PEORIA, Ill. -- Police are warning to keep a close eye on your vehicles.
A series of car break-ins are hitting Peoria and causing concern for many residents
Several West Bluff and central Peoria residents reported break-ins and thefts from their vehicles early Friday morning.
Police say a brick was used to break into three vehicles on North Isabell Avenue. A purse and small amounts of cash were taken.
The same break-in technique was used on a cars parked on North Sheridan and Briarwood, where $50 was stolen from each vehicle.
Another break-in was reported on Orange Street.
Authorities are investigating the incidents.
There are no suspects at this time.
