MCLEAN COUNTY, Ill. -- Snow covered roads likely played a role in two semi accidents near Bloomington on Thursday morning.

One of the semis was traveling east on Interstate 74 around 10 a.m. when it jack-knifed and slid into the median.

Traffic was reduced to one lane on I-74 East while Illinois State Police cleared the scene.

Earlier in the day, Illinois State Police responded to a semi jack-knife on Interstate 55 near Funks Grove.

Police said that accident did not tie up traffic and was quickly cleared.

No injuries were reported in either accident. It is unknown at this time if either driver was cited.
