Southern Illinois prison remains on lockdown

MENARD, Ill. -- Menard prison in southern Illinois remained on lockdown Monday.

The maximum facility lockup was put on lockdown on Friday after weapons and gallons of homemade alcohol were found during a search.

Prison officials said the lockdown will not be lifted until their investigation is concluded.
