CHICAGO – The Illinois Lottery is unveiling Red Ribbon Cash, a $2 instant lottery ticket whose profits go toward helping people with HIV/AIDS.

Red Ribbon Cash has risen over $5.2 million for Illinoisans with HIV/AIDS since it started in 2008.

“Red Ribbon Cash is a great example of why lotteries were created,” said Michael Jones, director of the Illinois Lottery. “Lotteries exist to allow citizens to make the choice to fund important causes.”
