St. Jude Dream Home sneak peek

PEORIA, Ill. -- The 2013 St. Jude Dream Home is nearly complete and Thursday night the home was opened for a special sneak peek.

The preview event celebrated 4.5 months of hard work on the 4 bedroom, 3.5 bathroom home is located at 3011 W. Wessex Drive in Peoria.

Brandon Dean is the builder of the Dream Home, he said there are just a couple more steps to complete this home before it can be raffled off next month.

"We're hoping to help the St. Jude Foundation and help the kids at St. Jude," said Dean, owner of Dean Custom Builders. "The inside of the house is totally complete, the outside we need the sod and irrigation system put in."

Tours of the home are offered every Saturday from 9 a.m. until 5 p.m. and Sunday from noon until 5 p.m. until April 7.
