State Farm announces financial results for 2012

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- State Farm announced Friday that the group increased revenue and net worth in 2012.

Officials said in a press release that the combined net worth for the State Farm group increased $4.6 billion in 2012, ending the year at $65.4 billion.

Total revenue up in 2012, sitting at $65.3 billion. In 2011, the company brought in $64.3.

State Farm reported an after-tax net income of $3.2 billion in 2012, compared with $0.8 billion in net income in 2011.
