Subway, Big Lots burglarized

PEORIA, Ill. -- Peoria Police are investigating two business burglaries that happened Friday night.

The first was at the Subway restaurant on North Sheridan.

Police say $50 was stolen along with two televisions from the wall.

Big Lots on North Knoxville Avenue was also burglarized Friday night. Police said they are unsure if the two burglaries are related.

They said someone cut a hole into roof above managers office which contained a safe.

It is unknown how much was stolen.

Police said they have no suspects in either incident.

Anyone with information on either of these two burglaries is urged to call police or crimestoppers at 673-9000.
