This is not the kind of phone bill you ever want to open.

According to the Estevan Mercury newspaper, a Canadian couple recently had a case of serious sticker shock when they opened their phone bill and found an amount due of $10,668.38.

The charges were accrued while the family was on vacation in Arizona and the couple's children and grandchildren were watching streaming movies by using an air card---and racking up data roaming fees, according to the Estevan Mercury report. The phone company reduced the charges by $9,600, according to the report.
