Fulton County, Ill. -- A train derailment just off of Route 95 on Seville Road, sent freight cars into the Spoon River on Monday afternoon

The train traveling from Good Hope to Peoria was carrying corn syrup at the time of the crash.

A spokesperson from the Keokuk Junction Railway said it's not certain whether the train derailed first or if the bridge collapsed from underneath the train.

There were no hazardous materials on-board. No injuries were reported.

The incident remains under investigation.
