Temporary two-way street causes confusion

PEORIA, Ill. -- A road change in downtown Peoria caused some confused drivers to look twice.

For the first time in 60 years, a section of Adams street is officially open to two way traffic.

The stretch between Walnut and Persimmon has been temporarily converted to a two-way street in an effort to ease construction congestion.

But the street was temporarily closed after some drivers were caught entering the wrong lane of traffic.
