Thousands aim to break Thriller record

PEORIA, Ill. -- Students, faculty, and parents in District 150 schools put on their moon-walking shoes and costumes to help break a world record.

Tonight they danced to Michael Jackson's famous thriller song at the Peoria stadium.

Thousands of people in cities across the world joined in on the dance at the same time to attempt to break the record for the largest simultaneous performance.

It's not certain if the record was beaten, but faculty say it was worth the time.
