MEG drug raids net three arrests

PEORIA, Ill. -- Three separate drug raids last week resulted in the arrest of three suspects and the seizure of crack, heroin and cash.

Agents with the Peoria Multi-County Narcotics Enforcement Group and the Illinois State Police searched 2120 N. Gale Ave. on February 12 and seized crack cocaine, packaging materials and $260 cash.

Arrested during the raid was Annecia Todd, 34, who lived at the address.

Also on February 12, James S. Smith, 43, was arrested in the 700 block of Morton Street during an undercover drug buy.

On February 13, a search warrant was executed at 1019 S. Greenlawn Ave. Police seized 3 grams of crack cocaine, packaging material and $196 cash from the residence.

Arrested during this raid was Yolanda Wilson, 36, of 2412 W. Malone St.

All three suspects are yet to be indicted, but have preliminary hearings set for March.
