PEORIA, Ill. -- One person was sent to the hospital, Tuesday evening, following three car accident in Peoria.
The accident occurred shortly after 8pm at the corner of Wayne and Adams.
Police say the driver of a white sedan attempted to make a left turn from the middle lane of Adams onto Wayne Street striking another vehicle.
The sedan flipped over from impact striking a third car.
Emergency crews freed the driver of the sedan, an authority says she appeared to have non-serious injuries.
The woman was transported to a local hospital.
The accident remains under investigation.
