Tornado touches down in west central Illinois

MORGAN COUNTY, Ill --Emergency officials confirm a tornado touched down in west central Illinois Thursday afternoon.

A video posted on Facebook purportedly shows the twister forming just outside of Concord in Morgan County.

The storm continued to move west and the tornado was later spotted on the ground around 3 p.m. near Virginia, about 30 miles west of Springfield.

At this point, no damage has been reported.
