Peoria woman found not guilty in murder-for-hire case

PEORIA, Ill. -- T A Peoria woman accused in a murder-for-hire case was found not guilty Wednesday.

Carrie Alcorn, 38, was accused of trying to hire her boyfriend to kill her ex-husband. The prosecution alleges Alcorn was upset with her ex over the custody of their children.

Police arrested Alcorn last September after her boyfriend helped them secretly record her.
