PONTIAC, Ill. -- The man accused of killing a Pontiac Police Officer and his K9 appeared in court Monday.

Jason Collins, 33, is charged with Aggravated DUI and Reckless Homicide.

Police said Collins lost control of his truck and hit Officer Casey Kohlmeier's marked car on Interstate-55 in October.

Collins' trial was originally set to start in May. It has now been pushed back to August.
