Tuesday morning shooting leaves one man injured

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- Bloomington Police are investigating a Tuesday morning shooting that left one person injured.

Police responded to the 1400 block of S. Main Street at 1:20 am.
A caller reported hearing shots fired in the area and then seeing four males running in the area of S. Center and Baker Streets.

An officer located the four subjects. Two fled the scene and the officer detained the other two, both of which were juveniles. One of them had two handguns and was wanted on a McLean County warrant.

A second officer located a 20 year old male victim who had been shot in the leg. The victim was transported to BroMenn Regional Medical Center.

Both juveniles were taken to BPD as a part of the investigation. However, nobody has been arrested and charged as the shooter in this incident. The
investigation continues.
