Tuition is going up at the University of Illinois

CHAMPAIGN, Ill -- Tuition is on the rise at the University of Illinois.

A nearly 2% increase was approved by trustees Thursday. School officials say the increase keeps tuition in line with inflation.

The increase only affects incoming students this fall.
