TWIN CITIES, Ill. -- 60 cents. That's all it takes to save one child from the ravages of polio, and some local clubs are hoping you will donate that, and more.

Five local Rotary Clubs are joining forces to raise funds for their "End Polio Now Campaign."

Friday, May 17th from 7:00 a.m. to 2:00 p.m., Rotary members will be at the eight McDonald's locations in the Bloomington-Normal area, and will ask customers to donate whatever they can.

There are just three countries in the world where polio is still a threat, Afghanistan, Nigeria, and Pakistan.

Members want that number cut to zero.

Again, all it takes to save one child is a 60 cent vaccine.
