NORMAL, Ill. -- Two men in Normal received separate DUIs within just 20 minutes of each other.

Police say shortly after 1 am Monday, Austin Young was driving his 1989 Chevy Camaro when he struck a traffic signal at the intersection of Mulberry and School. Young wasn't injured; he was arrested for DUI, has since posted bond and was released.

Police say in the second incident, around 1:30, Micah Cook was travelling northbound on Veterans parkway at a high rate of speed.

Authorities say he tried to make westbound turn on Vernon, when he lost control and flipped his car into the Steak and Shake parking lot, hitting another car. No one was inside the vehicle.

Cook was arrested for DUI and has since been released.
