PEORIA, Ill -- Two Peoria men were robbed at gunpoint while boarding up a vacant home on Thursday, police say.
The victims told police that they were inside the house working when two black men approached them from behind, both armed with handguns.
The suspects told the victims to lay on the ground and empty their pockets. The suspects took both of the victim's wallets and a cell phone. The victims told police that the suspects then fled north towards Millman.
The victims said they were working with a third man, but he was nowhere near them when the incident occurred.
Authorities are still investigating the robbery.
