PEORIA, Ill -- Sergeant Richard Glover and Vice officer John Couve were indicted this week in connection to July incident.

A Peoria County Grand Jury indicted Couve on multiple felonies, including official misconduct and obstructing justice.

He was also indicted for drunk and reckless driving, texting while driving and leaving the scene of an accident.

In July, Couve allegedly crashed a city-owned vehicle, which was reportedly stolen.

Authorities say Sergeant Glover was the first officer to arrive at the scene and reportedly lied to police about details of the incident.

Glover was indicted on several felonies for official misconduct, obstructing justice, and disorderly conduct.

Glover and Couve are scheduled for arraignment on October 4.
