Two men arrested in Bloomington home invasion

BLOOMINGTON, Ill. -- Two Normal residents have been arrested in connection to an armed home invasion.

Authorities say they have arrested David Duke, 26 and Kent Johnson, 26, were taken into custody.

Duke and Johnson are suspected of entering an address on Goose Creek Drive on Sunday, November 18 and tying up the residents at gun point. They were also able to get away with property.

Further investigation led the detectives to an address in the 1800 block of W. Illinois where the handgun used at the scene was located.

The suspects were located in the 2200 block of Todd Drive, where a subsequent search lead the officers to two hand guns, marijuana, and property taken from the victims.

Both men have been charged with Home Invasion/Armed with Firearm. Johnson was additionally charged with Manufacture/Delivery of Cannabis.

Both men are being held under $100,000 bond.
