PEORIA, Ill. – Two Peoria men are charged with murder and dismembering a human body in connection with the stabbing death of a homeless man.

The body of Dylan Propst, 22, was found Wednesday in the crawl space of a vacant home on Peoria’s East Bluff.

An autopsy performed Thursday showed Propst died of multiple stab wounds and blunt force injuries to his head and chest.

Adam Brown-Windle, 23, and Jay Conway, 21, appeared in Peoria County Court on Friday where they were officially charged with murder, armed robbery and dismembering a human body.

Both men are being held in the Peoria County Jail on $2 million bond.
