MCDONOUGH CO., Ill. -- Two men were hospitalized after a two-vehicle car crash in McDonough County Sunday night.
Illinois State Police say 27-year-old Merild Hobbs, Jr., of Bardolph, was traveling south bound on County Road 1800 E. when he failed to stop at the stop sign and collided into the vehicle of 57-year-old Canton man, Charlie Martin.
Hobbs was ejected from his vehicle.
Both men sustained moderate injuries and were taken to the McDonough District Hospital for treatment.
Hobbs was charged for disobeying the stop sign and failure to wear a seatbelt.
Police say no alcohol was involved in the crash.
