Two people charged in shooting incident in Alpha

ALPHA, Ill. -- Police have officially charged a woman in a shooting incident that occurred in Alpha on Tuesday.

Wednesday, Robin Atchison was officially charged with Class 3 Felony Reckless Discharge of a Firearm, and Class 4 Possession of a Weapon by a Felon with bond set at $500,000.

Robin is accused of shooting her husband, 21-year-old Trevor B. Atchison, in the head with a .22 cal rifle. Atchison is in critical condition at a Peoria hospital.

In connection with this case, 23-year-old Clint David Cole of Woodhull was arrested Wednesday and charged with one count of Class 3 Felony Unlawful Sale of a Firearm to a Felon.

Cole is being held at the Henry County Jail on $50,000 bond.
