Two people injured in DUI motorcycle crash

FARMINGTON, Ill. – A Yates City man has been charged with Driving Under the Influence after a motorcycle crash that injured him and his passenger early Sunday morning.

Terry Lansford, 39, was traveling north on Industry Rd. near Rt. 116 when he lost control of his Harley Davidson motorcycle.

Lansford and his passenger, Charette Harper, 44, of Farmington, were thrown from the motorcycle.

Lansford was life flighted to OSF St Francis Medical Center in Peoria with serious but non-life threatening injuries.

Harper was transported by Fulton County Ambulance to OSF with non-life threatening injuries.

Lansford was charged with Driving under the Influence of Alcohol, Failure to Reduce Speed to Avoid an Accident and Improper Lane Usage.
