PEORIA, Ill. -- Authorities are investigating an armed robbery at 1225 N. Sheridan Rd.

The victim, Robert Kaiser, 67, told police he was working at his office when two males came to the door.

One of the suspects, who the victim identified as Joshua Griffus, asked the victim for money. When he reached for his wallet, the other suspect grabbed the wallet.

The victim said that his associate tried to call the police, but was allegedly told by Griffus that he had a gun.

The suspects took Kaiser's cell phone and wallet, as well as the second victim's cell phone and fled eastbound.

Police are searching for Griffus and the second, unknown male. Kaiser said he could identify Griffus as he had asked him for money before.
