NORMAL, Ill. -- Traffic was diverted for about two and half hours in Normal Saturday due to a two-vehicle accident.
Police were called to the intersection of Main Street and Raab Road around 3:30 Saturday afternoon.
Authorities say that's when a southbound Durango with five occupants and another eastbound car carrying two people crashed into each other at the busy intersection.
Police say it is unclear what caused the accident and all passengers, which included minors, were transported to Advocate BroMenn Medical Center with serious injuries.
No other information is being released at this time.
