Two vehicles, left running, stolen over the weekend

PEORIA, Ill.-- Two vehicles that were left running by their owners were stolen over the weekend.

A vehicle left running in the parking lot of Griswold Grocery and Liquor was stolen on Saturday while the owner was inside the store.

The owner went in for one item and ran out as they saw a black male suspect driving away in the vehicle.

The driver stopped several blocks down the road and 3 black males jumped into the car.

The vehicle stolen was an Oldsmobile Alero.

Suspects appeared to be between 15 and 20 years old.

A vehicle left unattended after being started to warm up was stolen from a residential driveway on Sunday morning at 2328 W Ann street.

The owner turned the car on and went back in the house, when they came back outside the vehicle was gone.

The black Chevrolet Suburban was unattended for about 15 minutes.
