Unemployment insurance applications available in Spanish, Polish

CHICAGO, Ill. -- The Illinois Department of Employment Security (IDES) announced Monday that electronic applications for unemployment insurance are available in Spanish and Polish.

The IDES says that electronic applications are preferred over paper applications for accuracy and efficiency.

Last year, IDES converted certain documents on its website to Spanish, Polish, Simplified Chinese and Russian. The translator button is in the upper-right corner of the IDES homepage.
