CHAMPAIGN, Ill. – A University of Illinois student remains behind bars Tuesday after allegedly threatening classmates while referencing the shootings at Virginia Tech.

Dany Sammak, 19, is charged with felony disorderly conduct and making a terrorist threat. He is being held on $250,000 bond.

He was arrested Saturday after he made what police said were “terrorist-like threats” and made shooting gestures with his hands.

Campus police and the FBI searched Sammak's home, computer and other property. They found no evidence that he was part of a larger plot to harm others.
