DUNLAP, Ill. -- One man is hospitalized after a single-vehicle accident Sunday afternoon.
Peoria County authorities said the accident occurred around 1:45, at the corner of Cedar Hills Drive and Bristol Hollow Road in Dunlap.
That's where the victim, whose name is not being released, lost control of his vehicle. The car rolled several times into a nearby cornfield. Witnesses said pieces of the car were scattered throughout the scene.
Authorities said the victim was conscious and alert when they arrived on scene. He was taken to OSF Saint Francis Medical center with non-life threatening injuries.
