CENTRAL Ill.-- If you are struggling with energy bills but do not qualify for assistance through LIHEAP you may be eligible for help through the Warm Neighbors, Cool Friends Program.

The program provides home weatherization and energy bill assistance to Ameren Illinois customers who are facing temporary setbacks like illness, disability, or job loss.

Unlike government programs, Warm Neighbors Cool Friends relies on donations.

A grant covers administrative costs, allowing 100 percent of donations to help people in need.

You can help others in need by donating.
You can send a check payable to: EAF, P.O. Box 1758, Decatur, IL. 62525 or visit warmneighborscoolfriends.org. You can even add a small monthly donation to your Ameren Illinois bill.

If you are in need of assistance, visit www.ameren.com to find the agency that serves your county.
