WASHINGTON, Ill. -- Washington Mayor Gary Manier thinks an upcoming trip to Washington D.C. will help his city's chances in requiring FEMA.

U.S. Senator Mark Kirk has invited the Mayor to see President Obama's State of the Union Address next Tuesday.

Mayor Manier hopes the president will state his support for the city's FEMA declaration during his speech.
