PEORIA, Ill -- All is back to normal Thursday at the University Street Post Office, after water damage caused some disruption in services Wednesday.

A USPS Spokesperson said the building's roof sustained water damage from the recent rain.

The damage caused the internet to go out, meaning clerks could not process retail items and the self-service kiosk was down.

However, no mail was damaged and delivery was not interrupted.

Customers were re-directed to other area locations or to the USPS website.
