For the next two weekends Wildlife Prairie Park will be transformed into Wildlife Scary Park.
The Halloween theme is an annual favorite and the park's busiest event of the year.
There's a haunted house, a trick or treat path for kids, even a magician and a pumpkin decorating contest. And it's geared toward families and safety.
"It's the perfect place," said Eddie Urish, the event director at the park.
"I know folks have their concerns as they go out trick or treating these days. Where else can you go into a lighted path with the safe, wonderful sponsors that we have giving you the best candy you can have, knock on a door and be sure that its going to be good candy. From 5 pm to 7 pm we're even specifically pointing that toward the younger folks and its not so scary."
Halloween activities at Wildlife Prairie Park are scheduled for 5 to 9 pm on Friday, Saturday and Sunday each of the next two weekends.
Admission is $6.50 for the general public and $4.50 for park members. Children under a year-old are free.
