PEORIA, Ill -- The heavy rain is to blame for the partial collapse of a Peoria home's foundation.

The renter of the home at 1610 Indiana Avenue says she was asleep last night and was awoken to what she thought was a loud clap of thunder.

She then thought a tree limb hit the house but discovered this morning the brick foundation on the side of the house caved into the basement.

No one was injured.
