EDWARDS, Ill. -- The Central Illinois World War II Re-enactors put on their 5th yearly Battle of the Bulge re-enactment.
American and German soldiers held mock battles with canons and guns for the public.
Camps and displays were also set up so visitors could get the real feel of World War II.
"People can come out and not only see a Hollywood battle but also see what the guys did in between. How they ate, slept, and lived. You know, the deprivations and mail call," said Organizer Scott Thompson.
A bigger re-enactment will be held at the park next June that will include tanks and airplanes.
