CHICAGO, Ill. -- Chicago Bulls' point guard Derrick Rose is ready to get back to work and make a run at an NBA championship.
He missed all of last season following knee surgery, even though he was cleared to play late in the season.
Sunday at the United Center, Rose was promoting his latest basketball shoe and said his legs feel good.
"I've been feeling that way for a long time,” Rose said. “If anything it's putting that memory back in my legs, working out every day just trying to strengthen my legs, that's the biggest goal. But I'm past that. I'm in training. While I was in LA the last month or so, I think I was working out three times a day, trying to gat back on the right track."
The Bulls eight pre-season games start October 5 and games that count start on October 29.
