Two more major retailers plan to open their stores on Thanksgiving Day and stay open all the way through Black Friday.

Kmart will open at 6 a.m. on Thanksgiving Day and stay open till 11 p.m. on Black Friday. That is 41 hours straight.

Meanwhile, Sears will open its doors at 8 p.m. on Thanksgiving Day and stay open till 10 p.m. on Black Friday.

It is the latest example of holiday creep, where stores open earlier and stay open later to lure holiday shoppers.

Kmart has already taken heat from shoppers when it aired its first holiday ad on September 9, a full 105 days before Christmas.

A growing number of stores are joining in the holiday creep.

Macy's announced last month it would open most of its stores on Thanksgiving night this year for the first time in the store's 155-year history.
