SPRINGFIELD, Ill. -- A bill that would make it illegal to post what some call revenge porn is one step closer to becoming law in Illinois.

The bill would make it a felony to post sexual material of another person online without their permission.

On Wednesday, a Senate committee passed the measure unanimously.

It now heads to the full Senate.
