CENTRAL ILLINOIS-- Many of you voted Tuesday on referendum proposing an "electricity aggregation", in which residents of communities have the option of seeking to buy lower-priced power.
With nearly 300 communities voting on this issue, preliminary poll results show a resounding "yes" for the referendum.
Polling places in Peoria, Havana, Manito, Brimfield, Henry, San Jose, Topeka, Hanna City, Chillicothe, Elmwood, and North Utica --among others-- approved the measure, while Bath voted against it.
