SPRINGFIELD, Ill. -- On Tuesday, Illinois House members rejected a proposal that people who get concealed carry gun licenses would also have to carry a million dollar liability insurance policy.
House members also rejected a proposal which would have restricted concealed carry licenses to one gun at a time.
The House did approve a measure which would outlaw carrying weapons in any establishment with a liquor license.
Illinois lawmakers have until June 8 to adopt a concealed carry law.
