Illinois politics are in the news once again, but for a positive reason this time, as a national review group gives Illinois a pat on the back for transparency.

Last week, a national review group, "The Sunshine Review" released grades for Government websites across the US. Illinois's site received an A -.

The review said that every Government site should list names of the elected officials and sites of upcoming elections, among other facts.

The Sunshine Review also ranked city and county sites. Locally, websites for Peoria and McLean Counties received B's. DeWitt and Livingston Counties received failing grades.
