Pension reform 'credit positive' from Moody's

CHICAGO, IL. -- Moody's Investor Service says Illinois' Pension Reform package is a "credit positive" for the state. That's according to Crain's Chicago Business.

Illinois currently has the lowest credit rating in the country, but Moody's has yet to change its outlook on the state. Moody's says that is unlikely to happen until the projected savings of 160 billion dollars is verified independently, and if the reform is upheld in court.
