Quinn makes unannounced trip to Spain

Governor Pat Quinn has made an unannounced trip to Spain.

According to the Chicago Tribune, Quinn is looking to attract manufacturing, construction, and alternative energy to Illinois.

A spokesperson says Spanish firms employ about 1,200 people in Illinois.

Quinn is paying for his own travel.
