State Issues $3.7 Billion in Bonds to Fund Employee Pensions

Governor Quinn today signed the bill allowing the state to issue $3.7 Billion dollars in bonds.

That money will go into the state's pension fund.

Illinois has been one of the state's which were listed as 'most deliquent" in paying into the employee pension funds.

The bonds will be issued in mid February.
