CHICAGO, IL. -- Businessman and gubernatorial candidate Bruce Rauner got some attention when he said the state's minimum wage, $8.25 an hour, ought to be rolled back to $7.25.

Rauner says that will make the state's businesses more competitive.

Meanwhile, State Senator Kirk Dillard and State Representative Jil Tracy, GOP candidates for Governor and Lieutenant Governor said multi-millionaire Rauner was out of touch with average Illinoisians...and even questioned whether Rauner was a "real Republican".

It was announced Tuesday that Rauner has agreed to a series of five candidate debates..all of which are in Chicago or Springfield.

Dillard will also appear at 19 forums.

But there is still no confirmation on a January 23rd appearance in Peoria.
