SPRINGFIELD, Ill. -- The four GOP candidates for Governor meet again face to face Thursday in Chicago.
The new polls both show one candidate is leading this pack and that is Chicago businessman Bruce Rauner.
The poll, which was conducted for Senator Bill Brady, shows Rauner is ahead with 32-percent of the voters making him their choice but Brady in second place at 24-percent. Kirk Dillard in third with 13-percent. Dan Rutherford has a minuscule 3-percent of the vote.
Brady said this poll shows it is a two man race between himself and Rauner.
Then there's the "We Ask America" poll, which again has Rauner in first but Kirk Dillard is a distant second and Brady is well behind in third. Again, Rutherford, who recently cut back on TV advertising, runs fourth.
If this poll is accurate, the primary election is Bruce Rauner's to lose.
It would take much of the 27-percent of undecided Republicans to swing the election away from him.
